Those of us who live on Tiger Valley Road would be neighbors of “Miller silo" and have our scenic vistas of the Blue Ridge insulted. Our property values would be diminished.
There are better alternatives to provide cellular phone service to the Tbwn of Washington. A facility hidden in the trees on a hilltop, such as is required in Albemarle and Fauquier Counties, is a better solution.
This “Miller silo” will come before the Planning Commission for public comment at 7:30 on Sept. 19 at the Rappahannock County High School. It will be considered along with permits for six other cellular structures.
It is very important that we work to protect the scenic and historic wonders that make Rappahannock unique, by attending and speaking out against “Miller silo" at this public hearing.
