It was not a tsunami that hit Rappahannock last Friday, but it-^as a Tidal Wave of Song. Two thousand copies of the long and eagerly awaited album were delivered from Oasis CD Duplication of Flint Hill to Ki Theatre headquarters in Washington, and are now available at local shops, by phone (987-3311), by visiting www.kidpanalley.org, or at this Saturday’s Tidal Wave of Song Concert at the Hearthstone School in Sperryville (Sept. 22 at 6 p.m.).

The album is unique (and superbly performed, recorded and produced). The album is a true reflection of this community and its cohesiveness. The album’s songs were written by Paul Reisler and the County’s elementary school children.
The album’s nineteen cuts are a marvel of perfectly executed and diverse styles, both in terms of the song writing and the song performing.
