Last Saturday, the Castleton Fire and Rescue building was the setting for a party honoring Mrs. Montrue W. Frazier on her birthday.
Approximately 80 relatives and friends gathered, bringing gifts and wishes and enjoyed the bountiful meal along with a great time of fellowship.
Mrs. Nancy Robinson, Mrs. Janet Peregory and Mrs. Patsy Wharton hosted the party.
Quite a number of folks from the Castleton area and also including this writer attended the Dodson family reunion held at Rappahannock Recreation Park, near Washington on Sunday afternoon.
^Congratulations for work well done and good luck in the future to Mrs. Helen Williams of Aaron Mountain Road, an employee of Rappahannock County Schools for many years, who will be retiring the last of the month.
