Bernice Bloom

Born in Flint Hill

Bernice Nicholson Bloom, 62, a resident of Green Valley, Ariz. since 1990, formerly of Winchester and Clarke County died on Sunday, Sept. 9 at her home.

She was bom on Sept. 18, 1938 in Flint Hill, a daughter of the late Doley and Goldie Nicholson.

She was a 1957 graduate of Warren County High School.

She was a Geriatrics Nursing Assistant and serv ed at Hillcrest Nursing Home when she lived in the Winchester, - Clarke County area before retiring to Arizona.

On March 23, 1973 she married Elmo L. Bloom.

Mrs. Bloom was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Green Valley, Ariz. and Rosedale Baptist Church in Frederick County.

In addition to her husband, survivors include two sons, Michael Richardson of Middletown and Dennis Richardson of Clarke County and one daughter, Susan Riggs of Chesapeake; three grandchildren; three step-children and three step-grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted at Rosedale Baptist Church on Sept. 15 with Rev.
