The U-12 Rapp girls team took on the Culpeper girls in a game that saw both teams playing hard and pressing the goalies early and often. Emma Hathaway made several stops as goalie, and her defensive front of Ella Miller, Kara Corbin, and Emma Dodd-Henze worked hard keeping Culpeper at bay.

Hannah Rosenbaum, and Emily Carter and Osha Kondori pressed the Culpeper defense with several shots on goal. By the end of the first half, neither team had scored.

The second half opened up with Culpeper scoring an early goal, but Ella Miller, now on the offensive line for Rapp answered with a goal of her own evening the score. It stayed that way for several minutes as Kara Corbin made several stops as the new goalie.

Near the end, Culpeper was able to boot in two quick goals making the score 3-1, and capped it off with a goal in the closing seconds to end the game defeating Rapp 4-1. After two tough losses, the U-12 girls travel this weekend to Orange. Good luck
