Cleveland “Bear" Rector •Jenkins Sr.. 72. of Stephens City died Wednesday, Sept. 12 at Winchester Medical Center.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday, Sept. 15 at Shenandoah Valley Baptist Church in Stephens City by the Rev. Eric Farel. Burial was in Greenhill Cemetery in Stephens City.
Mr. .Jenkins w-as born Oct. 25, 192H in Rappahannock County, son of the late John D. Jenkins Sr. and Stella Atkins Jenkins.
Mr. Jenkins was a selfemployed contractor for 40 years. He was a member of Shenandoah Valley Baptist Church, Centreville Moose Lodge and Winchester Eagles.
Surviving are his wife, Nancy L Jenkins; a daughter, Linda Jenkins of Stephens City; two brothers, Cletus Jenkins and John D. Jenkins •Jr. both of Stephens City; five grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren.
Finders & Shirley Funeral Home in Stephens City was in charge of the arrangements.
