Today, the International Gold Cup is the centerpiece event on the National Steeplechase Associat ion sanctioned card, typically attracting nearly 100 horses to compete for purses exceeding $125,000.
The International Gold Cup has been named one of the top 20 events of the Southeast by the Southeast Tourism Society. The tilth annual running is set for Saturday. Oct. 20. General admission car passes are $50 in advance, $00 on race day. A car pass admits one vehicle and six occupants.
