Lampton said that though most mid-Atlantic hunt clubs have established spring race circuits, many of the other 170 foxhunts around the nation know nothing of the fun, and revenue potential, of hosting a steeplechase.
“I know all of them won’t be able to field enough horses and riders,” Lampton said, “but I hope maybe 20 new clubs will join the circuit, along with the established clubs.
