lhe tirst answer I got to |the question was that it was .probably a typo. The second ;answer referred to a change ;in the scale. The third .answer, which was written, j stated that these three individuals requested that Assistant Superintendent Mary Anne Biggs review their years of experience as each questioned the accuracy.
The Assistant Superintendent found their years of experience to be in error. She prepared a document requesting proper placement of the employees. The correction was made in the 2001-2002 budget by posting the proper years of experience and double stepping their salaries. I requested and received a copy of the document, which was in fact three letters, the Assistant Superintendent seemed to have prepared and they indicated that the ESP and DCI began their teaching careers sometime in 1979 and the HSAP sometime in 1985. They were not specific to the day or month. There was no indication as to the reason the misplacement had occurred. Two of the three letters were unsigned.
