A HEALTHY

INFLUENCE

There have been over I,(XX) studies dealing with the connection between health and religion. The latest, which is the best, most well designed study to date to look at religion and health shows that religious individuals are likely to live longer. The review of 40 studies on health and religion shows that those who are most involved in their religions are 29 percent more likely to be alive when the various studies finished than were their non-religious counterparts. In fact, the data showed that regular involvement in religious activities could add seven to fourteen years to your life. This is one of the most powerf ul findings to show that involvement in the religious community is a powerful predictor of health.
