Catherine Lillard

Catherine Utz Lillard, 83, of Culpeper, formerly of Washington and a native of Madison died Thursday, Oct. 11 at Oak Springs in Warrenton.

She was born Oct. 21, 1917 in Madison County to the late Wayman Lester Utz and Katherine Elizabeth Jenkins Utz.

Mrs. Lillard retired from Aileen as an inspector.

Survivors include three children, Janet L. Olater and her husband, Gid; Walter R. Lillard and his wife, Joyce, all of Sperryville and James S. Lillard and his wife, Betty of Culpeper.

Additional survivors include three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her husband, Walter Allen Lillard; four brothers, Levi Utz, Lester Utz, Russell Utz and Charles Utz and two sisters, Martha Lillard and Mary Lillard.
