Pack Meeting, hike set

Cub Scout Pack 123 will be having its October Pack Meeting and hike at Rock Mills on Saturday. Oct. 20 at 2 p.m. All cub scouts and their families, as well as anyone interested in joining Cub Scouts, are invited to join in

“Reset ” workshop planned

Certified massage practitioner Ocea Wilkes will be teaching a course on the Kinergetics protocol called Reset which is a series of self-massage steps that helps anyone reset" the “fight-or-flight” adrenal levels in the body to manage stress. This program also “resets" other glandular systems in the body to achieve a state of deep relaxation, balance, and well being. This course is offered for $50 on Monday, Oct 22 from 7-10 p.m. at the Rappahannock Healing Arts Center on US 211 in Sperryville.

• Halloween Bonfire. Oct. 31. Washington

• Second Saturday Hikes. Nov. 10 and Dec. 8. Meet at Mountainside Market west of Sperryville between 8 and 8:30 a.m. and caravan from there for a full day s adventure along Rappahannock River Watershed upper tributary trails in SNP, finishing around mid-to-late afternoon. Participants | should be fairly fit, bring nourishment for themselves and layerable clothing according to the weather of the day. Youth under 16 should have adult accompaniment. Specific destinations may vary according to group composition, weather or other factors.
