was the daughter of the late William E. and Florence Tribby Humphrey. She was a member of the Muhlenberg Lutheran Church.

Her husband, Charles Edgar Taylor, died June 19. 1951.

She is survived by a daughter, Jo Ann Wingfield and husband, Dennis of Sperryville; a son, Charles William Taylor and wife, Christine of Harrisonburg; a brother, Charles R. Humphrey and wife Claudine of Greenville, N.C.; two sisters, Lucille Waggy and Florence Gross, both of Harrisonburg; five grandchildren, Denise Wingfield, Cathy Gillespie, Vernon Wilkins, Lorita Yancey and Candle Lokey and ten great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted on Thursday, Sept. 27 at Muhlenberg Lutheran Church. The Rev. Joseph Vought, Pastor Jon Heddleston and Rev. Martha Simms conducted the service. Burial followed at Woodbine Cemetery.
