He retired after 20 years from the Air Force, and was employed by Rokehy Farm in Upperville for 15 years.
Surviving are his wife, Gladys Moffett; a daughter, Teresa Moffett of Hilton Head Island, S.C. and four stepsons, Larry Campbell of Luray, Marshall Campbell of Charles Town, W.Va., Jerry Campbell of Belvoir and Jimmy Campbell of The Plains.
Also surviving are four brothers, Robert Moffett of The Plains, Ronald Moffett of Amissville, Stephen Moffett and John William Moffett, both of Warrenton and a sister, Brenda Loop of Dulles.
Moser Funeral Home in Warrenton was in charge of the arrangements.
