Commission and Town Council meetings to provide further recommendations for the town’s revised Comprehensive Plan. He also suggested that Herd be employed for one more public forum, as well.
Council voted unanimously in a roll call vote to employ Herd for no more than an additional $4,800 for his services in this capacity.
Councilwoman Alice Butler asked that council consider hiring someone to mow along the sides of all of the entrance roads into Washington, saying, “I think the streets look terrible and we owe it to the citizens and tourists to keep it looking neat.”
Council agreed that Butler and Dodd could find someone to do the proposed mowing.
