Gilbert also announced the formation of his campaign organization on Monday. Gilbert has named Wade Zirkle of Edinburg to be his campaign manager. Zirkle, 27, has a degree in Political Science from the University of South Carolina. He is a former Marine Infantry Officer who served two tours in Iraq. Zirkle will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the campaign and its staff.
