former..Anna Bergman is a musical phenomenon!” Representing a diva from earlier times will be Ann Monoyios, equally well known as a specialist in the baroque and classical literature. A frequent colleague of Four Nations, Ms. Monoyios concertizes throughout Europe and North America in a wide variety of repertoire including opera, oratorio, chamber music and recitals. She has collaborated with all of the leading period performance ensembles and conductors and is widely recorded. Pianist, conductor, and voice coach William Hicks completes the ensemble. He served as Assistant Conductor of the Metropolitan Opera for six years; as a free-llance pianist he has appeared with some of the greatest singers of our time. Mr. Hicks presents master classes for opera singers on both coasts, and brings a special stylistic familiarity to 20thcentury popular songs.
“Tbrch Songs” is a finale to the 58th annual Neighborhood Art Show weekend, with the concert followed by a reception in the Art Show gallery.
