Abell envisions connecting people who want to farm with people who have the land and do not use it. If the two come together to see that the land can be well taken care of both will profit.
When asked why they thought there was such a decline in the youth wanting to farm the land Miller and Abell both had insightful responses. Miller believes a paradigm shift is taking place in our world today. Slowly the youth of America are being exposed to careers other than farming. Farmers who have children may not want them to undertake such a difficult lifestyle. Miller explained that a vast majority of farm owners must seek work off the farm just to support it. That is why he believes that what the young people on his farm are doing is so important. They are able to concentrate on farming, not on having to fund it.
