PUBLIC HEARING ANNOUNCEMENT

The Rappahannock-Rapidan Community Services Board and the Area Agency on Aging (RRCSB-AAA) serves Culpeper, Fauquier, Madison, Orange, and Rappahannock Counties. In its Area Plan the RRCSB-AAA provides services paid for by the Older Americans Act. These services include: Congregate Meals, Home Delivered Meals, Homemaker Services, Elder Abuse Prevention, Disease Prevention and Health Promotion, Legal Services, Transportation Services, Volunteer Services, Information and Assistance Services, Public Information and Education, and Emergency Services. Any qualified vendor interested in submitting a proposal on the provision of any of the above services should contact the Executive Director, RRCSB-AAA, P.O. Box 1568, Culpeper, VA 22701, in writing by June 30, 2005 asking to be placed on the bidders list for the specific service in which interest is indicated.

The RRCSB-AAA invites interested parties to a Public Hearing scheduled for June 14, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. at its main offices at 15361 Bradford Road in Culpeper. During this time general information about its Area Plan for Aging Services and services provided under its Performance Contract with the Department of Mental Health, Mental Retardation and Substance Abuse Services will be presented.
