This is why he has enlisted the help of young people interested in farming, but unable to raise the capital to buy their own land. Miller has connected with several young people from around the country who have spent years learning about farming and have wanted to try their hand at it.
A young couple wanting to grow vegetables and a young girl interested in cattle farming have found a way to make their hopes come alive at Mt. Vernon. Miller and these youths have come to an agreement that serves their combined interests. Miller sees his land being put to good use by informed farmers and the fanners are able to have a place to do their work. Miller also feels there is a great benefit to bringing in young farmers because he likes their alternative approaches to working the land.
