In recent times a large industry has evolved out of this. On any given morning in our -area you can see pick up trucks pulling trailers full of yard cutting equipment, going to and fro.
My husband Danny believes that the onset of the weed eater also helped to give birth to the tree trimming industry or at least the current boom. He says that when people started manicuring their yards instead of just cutting them, it was just natural that the trees needed to look their best. He believes that never in history has so much time and money been spent maintaining our yards. Dozens of people in our area make a nice living maintaining yards and doing tree work. Long live the weed eater!
