“The students are really excited about bringing the play to the park” said Harriet Resio, the director. Claire Comer, Shenandoah National Park ranger who saw the original performance added, “the play is such an honest and moving portrayal of the era, and the students, many of whom are descendents of families that were affected by the establishment of the park, certainly do the material justice.”
The hour-long performance will be followed by a panel discussion involving the cast, author, director, a Shenandoah National Park ranger, and the audience.
The public is cordially invited to attend. There is no charge for the performance. A $10 per car fee, or a valid park pass (Golden Eagle, Shenandoah, Golden Age, Golden Access) is needed to enter the park.
