A good music dictionary defines ‘camerata’ as a “musical ensemble which performs a wide variety of music.” The same reference book defines ‘cantores’ to mean “of the singers.”
But definitions fail to do justice to the vocal ensemble known as Camarata Cantores. You have to hear them sing.
