Rucker Farm gets easement protection
The second Rappahannock County easement of 2005 was recorded on May 18. Granted by Lindsay and Heidi Eastham to the Virginia Outdoors Foundation, the easement protects the 326-acre Rucker Farm, which may henceforth never be subdivided into more than three parcels. The easement also establishes a 50-foot riparian buffer along the Farms 4,992 feet of Jordan River frontage.
Tbtal Rappahannock easement protection now totals 20,973 acres — which is 15.4% of all private land in the county.
