guests was an appetizing buffet of fine foods donated for the benefit by generous Rappahannock County restaurants and businesses. Both the Historical Society and its guests enjoyed the tasty refreshments. Among those contributing their delectable offerings were the Apple Hill Bakery, E-Cow, Gay Street Inn, Griffin Tavern, The Country Cafe, The Inn at Little Washington, The Public House, Thornton River Grille, and Sunnyside Farms. Special thanks went to Col. John Bourgeois, president of the Rappahannock Historical Society, who provided the wine, and to Joan Herrema and Donna Kevis for their finishing touches in the kitchen.
