A narrow 4-3 vote approved application of transforming a residential home in Sperryville into a tourist home for up to six persons.
The application was made by Barbara Adolfi of Sperryville for the house located at 14 Water Street.
Thomas Junk, planning commissioner representing the Piedmont District where Sperryville is located, made a motion to recommend approval of the application based on the following:
• There would be four designated parking spaces, designated by sign or curb style.
• A screen covering on the commercial side of the property- ty•
The applicant followed all county ordinance on lighting issues.
However, Alvin Heniy, Jr., planning commissioner from Amissville requested that there be no outdoor activities for more than 14 people — a request that the applicant agreed to.
