RappFLOW’s
first newsletter
The Planning Commission welcomed Beverly Hunter, representative of the Rappahannock Friends and Lovers of Our Watershed (RappFLOW), who presented each commissioner with a copy of the group’s first printed newsletter.
Hunter drew attention to several pages of the newsletter, noting how students from Rappahannock County High School have assisted in studies which have been, and currently are being conducted in a segment of the Thornton River, flowing south of Sperryville.
She advised that a more in depth report would be available in the Planning Comr mission’s June 15, 2005 meeting as well as an exhibition that will be on display at the Rivers-n-Roots Festival in Sperryville on June 25.
