Snyder Preservation Award. Quarstein is currently on the Board of the Virginia Civil War Trails. He lives on a farm near Newport News with his wife and son.
The evening starts with a social time at 6:30 p.m. Dinner is from 7 to 8 p.m. followed by the program. The cost is $12 per person. Everyone, members and nonmembers are invited and welcome. Fauquier County
A dinner meeting for the Fauquier County Civil War Roundtable will be held June 8, at the Fauquier Springs Country Club.
Mr. Dave Goetz will speak on: “The Life and Times of John Singleton Mosby,” based on a book of essays on John Mosby which he is co-editing for publication in 2006.
Goetz is president of Meshy’s Confederacy, Inc, and leads tours of Mosby’s Confederacy in Fauquier, Loudoun, Warren, Clarke, and Fairfax counties. He has a professional background in public relations, sales and marketing, being Accredited in Public Rc'ations by the Public Relations Society. A veteran of the U.S. Army, Goetz now lives in Warrenton, Va.
