Farm Fair
Culpeper, Madison and Rappahannock Farm Fair invites everyone to attend the Antique Tractor Pull on Sunday, May 29 at Culpeper Agricultural Enterprises, on Route 29 N Culpeper. Gates open at 10 a.m., weigh-in starts at 11 a.m. Pulling will begin at 1 p.m. Proceeds of the pull benefit local 4-H and FFA youth who exhibit at the Farm Fair. GED practice test offer
Regional Adult Education is offering the GED practice test on June 2 at 4 p.m. The practice test will be held at G. W. Cemetery clean-up
Descendants, friends and neighbors of the Bolen family will meet on Saturday, June 4, to have their bi-annual cemetery clean-up/ picnic day at the Bolen cemetery on Pig Nut Mountain. Any and all attending are invited to meet at the end of Keyser Run Road (Rt. 622) by 11 a.m. If you have a truck or 4x4 to help carry folks and supplies, you’re needed! Bring a dish or drink to share at the picnic.
Open House at Belle Meade Day Camp
Come visit Belle Meade Day Camp Sunday, June 5 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. The day camp offers an active outdoor program of swimming, hiking, canoeing, arts and crafts, and informal sports for boys and girls 6-13. Five two-week sessions run from June 13 to August 19. Transportation is available from Amissville, Washington, Sperryville, Culpeper, and Madison.
