CONSERVATION SPECIALIST The John Marshall Soil & Water Conservation District is seeking an energetic person to fill the part-time Conservation Specialist position (2432hrs/wk). Successful candidate will provide technical assistance to landowners to implement agricultural Best Management Practices (BMPs) including conservation planning, survey and design work. Minimum requirements: any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from an accredited college or university with major course work in soils, agronomy, natural resources, animal science or related field: experience in soil and water conservation; map experience and computer experience a plus, starting hourly salary is $15-$20 based on experience.
