District. Linda Dietel, chair of the Rappahannock Democrats, said, “I have known Jim Blubaugh and his wife for over 20 years. They are active in the community and fine people besides.”
Dietel recalled that she first met Blubaugh when they served together on the Board of the Rappahannock Child Care and Learning Center.
“He was our treasurer and was instrumental in raising the funds needed to build a permanent facility. The beautiful building that is there now is a tribute to him and to the others like him.”
David Tbbey, chair of the Page County Democratic Committee, added that, “Jim Blubaugh already has been all over Page County, meeting people and learning issues. He is a businessman, so he understands the importance of job creation. He is a hunter and fisherman who is sensitive to environmental issues in the Blue Ridge.
