The Rappahannock County Planning Commission met with a standing-room-only crowd on May 18 with many residents prepared to speak for or against a special application made by Tony and Kelley Williams for a private sewage treatment plant. The facility would be for a new home construction the couple has planned in Chester Gap.
However, despite a considerable narrative by Bryan T. Chrisman, a systems design engineer with Racey Engineering Services of Luray, Virginia, explaining the procedures of a private sewage plant that would be installed by the company for the Williams’, the Planning Commission denied recommendation to the Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors for this application.
