Raymond L. Brown, Sr., vice-chairman of the commission, Thomas F. Tepper, commissioner from Castleton, Sharp and Junk all voted in approval to recommend the application to the Board of Supervisors.

Next on the commission’s agenda was an application made by Joyce C. and Ann W. Harman of 1214 North Poe’s Road, Flint Hill for a special use zoning permit to build a main house on the property.

There is an existing house, approximately 1,100 squarefeet as well as a family apartment above a bam on the property.

However, Joyce Harman has proposed that the current apartment would become an office space, and the existing' house would become a family apartment.

“I cannot find a location for the dwelling without conflicts,” Harman said in public forum before the commission, regarding the proposal for a new main house to be built more them 200-feet from the family apartment.
