Broy, a Middletown resident, was instrumental in establishing the men’s and women’s soccer programs, which are the first athletic teams at LFCC. His previous soccer coaching experience stems from his days at Clarke County High School, where he served as assistant coach for the boys’ varsity and junior varsity teams from 1997 through 2000. This included the Eagles’ 1999 Virginia Group A state championship season. Broy later served ■ as head coach of the varsity girls’ soccer team and led them to the program’s first district tournament and regional playoff . victories.
