A recent Saturday afternoon was the setting for a new era for the F. T. Baptist congregatibn . Roughly 25 people gathered to celebrate the dedication of a historical highway marker placed in honor of F. T. Baptist Church.
Ralph Yowell, Deacon Chairman, started the afternoon’s ceremonies with a warm welcome for those who had come to brave the heat and honor one of Rappahannock’s own.
Dan Yowell, pastor of F. T. Baptist, opened with a prayer. Others who helped make the event possible were Mayo Yowell, Mrs. Lucia Kilby, A1 Simpson, Lanny Horton, Director
