Mr. Charlie F. Baldwin, 76, died on Sept. 24 at his home.

He was bom on June 8,1929 on Pig Nut Mountain in Rappahannock County, the son of the late Oscar E. and Sarah E. Molden Baldwin.

Young Charlie and his family lived here until 1936 when his father sold his 57 acres to the U.S. government which became part of the Shenandoah National Park. The family moved just a few miles outside of the park area and bought the
