Additional survivors include three sisters, Jean Kline of New Market* Joan Sibert of Edinburg and Phyllis Palmer of Strasburg; two brothers, Henry Palmer, Jr. of Pensacola, FL and Dennis Palmer of Strasburg; one grandchild from Chester Gap.
He was predeceased by a daughter, Naomi Palmer and a brother, Ronald Palmer.
Pallbearers were Dennis Palmer, Grant Johnson, Tbrn Myers, Kenny Showalter, Kenny Hottingor and Mickey Grove.
Honorary pallbearers were Jobie Varner, Aaron Whitacre and Brian Bowman.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, Sept. 25 at Stover Funeral Home, Strasburg with Rev. Benjamin Simmons officiating. Burial was in Riverview Cemetery, Strasburg with military honors by Shenandoah American Legion Post No. 77, Strasburg.
