In the beginning
F.T. Valley’s first church records begin in 1805, and indicate that a meeting house had been built. By 1816 this building was in such bad repair that a committee recommended that a new structure be built in a different location. The site of the current church started as a piece of ground that was deeded to the church by John and Jamima Zimmerman, near Mr. Conyer’s store.
