The Culpeper Minute Men Chapter is made up of members from three counties: Rappahannock, Culpeper and Madison.

All meetings are open to the public.

October 15:

Family Fall Festival

and Yard Sale

On Saturday, October 15, Wakefield Country Day School, located at 1059 Zachary Taylor Highway in Flint Hill, will host a Fall Festival from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the school grounds. Activities will include a yard sale, fall plants for sale, assorted baked goods and hot and cold food, face painting, a pinata, a hands-on science project, egg races, a beanbag toss, a cake walk, jeweliy and candles for sale, mini-golf, and a moon bounce. Proceeds from the Festival will help fund various class and club projects throughout the year, and with most prices in the 25(2 to $1 range, it’s a great way to spend the day for the whole family. In case of rain, activities will be moved to the gymnasium.

Rappahannock Quilt Club will be showing more of the Hidden Treasures of Rappahannock County on Saturday, Oct. 15 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Sunday, Oct. 16 at the Washington Fire Hall from 12 noon to 5 p.m. A $5 admission fee will be charged with all proceeds going to the Washington Volunteer Fire Department Ambulance Fund Their first show was a spectacular success and they have more beautiful examples of antique and modem quilts for your viewing pleasure.
