For an horn1 before the School Board went into open session, a mother with two children waited in the School Board office lobby.
Young Erin Eton, a 5th grader at Rappahannock Elementary School, had a matter she wanted to air with the Board. Eton’s mother brought her to the meeting as an educational exercise, and to give her daughter the chance to speak her mind and state her case.
While waiting for the board to end its closed session, Eton explained that she was concerned with effective use of the elementary school’s recreational facilities.
