Carolyn Lee Fincham Grimsley, 63, of Marshall, VA died on Wednesday, Sept. 21, at the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville.

She was bom in Winchester, Va., on Sept. 7,1942, a daughter! of Minnie Lee Wharton Fincham ■ and William James Fincham.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Orlean Fire; Department Auxiliary. Her husband, Harvey Daily Grimsley! preceded her in death.

Mrs. Grimsley is survived by three children; Harvey Daily! Grimsley Jr. of Winchester,! Douglas Dailey Grimsley of; Warrenton, and Shirley Marie. Grimsley Smith of Midland. !

Additional survivors include seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two broth-! ers; James William Fincham; and Franklin Hughes Fincham.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, Sept. 24, at Moser Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Barbara Minter officiating.' Interment followed at Orlean Cemeteiy.

Charles F. Palmer, 74, of Clearbrook died Thursday, Sept. 22, at Winchester Medical Center.

Mr. Palmer was bom July 13, 1931 in Strasburg, a son of the late Henry and Alice Middleton Palmer.

He retired from AT & T Telephone Company, Winchester in 1990 with 30 years of service, a veteran of the United States Army serving during the
