After noting that the School Board was meeting in a special session with just one concern on the agenda, and that the board has open sessions for the public to see and to speak, but not debate, chairman Wesley Mills invited Eton to speak. The board listened to her make her case, thanked her and made several recommendations.
First, that she should bring the matter up with elementary school principal David Covington, and second, that she should think about running for class office - and later, maybe Student Council Association representative.
