Republican House of Delegates candidate Todd Gilbert today expressed his regret that the Virginia Education Association, a teachers’ union, decided to endorse his opponent, Jim Blubaugh. Gilbert gave the following statement:
“It comes as no surprise that a teachers’ union chose to endorse a big-govemment Democrat. Very early in this election cycle, the VEA endorsed the entire Democrat state ticket.
Education has always been an important part of my life. I am the son of a public school teacher of nearly thirty years.
