Regarding his recent endorsement by the Virginia Education Association, Jim Blubaugh, Democratic candidate for the 15th District House of Delegates, commented, “I am pleased to have the support of the men and women who face educational issues everyday.” Being married to a high school teacher of many years and having put three children through the public school system, Blubaugh truly understands the issues and problems facing the public educational system.
“Our children’s education is the foundation for all the progress of our community and must be made a priority. In order to foster good jobs and support our agricultural industry in our own community, we must expand our schools, including our community colleges, to teach specialized training for skills to be used in jobs in the 15th district.”
