Annual Festival

All friends of the town of Woodville are invited to attend the 13th annual town picnic on Saturday, October 1 from 2:30 p.m. until dark. As in recent years, the event will be held at the Blue Ridge Overlook midway up Red Oak Mountain road. Follow signs from downtown. Hamburgers, Jiotdogs, lemonade & ice tea are provided. Folks are asked to bring their favorite side dish to share. Live bluegrass music will be provided by the sensational traveling group “Fast Freddie & The Cliflhangers.” The event will include a special tribute to neighbors Lucy and Bill Oliver who are departing the community for new horizons.
