Local sheep farmer and Realtor Alan Zuschlag said the school will help preserve local agriculture as well as educate the next generation of farmers.
Commission members spoke well of the school and its application, noting that Mountain Laurel administrators responded to the concerns that arose from their prior application.
“I support it,” Commission member Raymond Brown said. “They did all the things we asked them to do the last time they were here.”
Commission member Tbm Tepper said, “I’m certain that you’re going to be a good neighbor to Rappahannock County.”
