Ron Frazier, the Board of Supervisors’ representative on the commission, said Finley’s application was disorganized. As an example, he noted that parking was planned for the same location as a medical tent.
Since the Finley representatives were not present to answer questions or plead their case, the commission made its decision after little discussion.
Company owner Michael Finley did not return calls seeking comments for this story.
The Board of Supervisors will have the final say on the permit application at its Feb. 5 meeting.
