Spotsylvania County authorities are
finally beginning to realize that Hunt Harris is not a criminal.
Since mid-November, the 54-year-old Rappahannock County man has had his life turned upside down by an armed robbery he insists he did not commit. Harris was arrested for the crime based on the flimsy combination of one person’s opinion that he resembles a police sketch, a liquor store clerk’s testimony and an overzealous reaction by Spotsylvania police when Harris refused to take a sheriffs office polygraph test.
