Jan 28: Registration for Rappahannock - Culpeper Baseball
Dates for in-person sign-ups are as follows: 1/28, 2/4 & 2/11 at the Amissville firehouse from 1-3 p.m. Players new to RCB need to bring birth certificates. All children, boys & girls, from ages 4-18 (by May 1st) are eligible to play. New for 11 and 12 year-old players, is the super Cal 50770’ field. Play baseball just like the professionals do. Feb. 2: Traditional Oompah
The James Madison University Brass Band will perform Feb. 2 at 7:30 p.m. at the BB &T Center for the Performing Arts in Luray. Joe Bowman of Coldwell Banker-Panorama Realty is sponsoring this event. Tickets are available at Luray-Page County Chamber of Commerce, McKim and Huffman Pharmacy, Luray Copy Sen/ice, Luray Apothecary and Stanley Pharmacy. Adults are $12, 65 and over are $11 and children 12 and under are $6. Local band students wearing a band tee shirt pay $5. For information on this event call 540-743-3311.
