Mr. Williams was bom Nov. 8, 1951, son of James H. and Ruth Williams in Washington DC.
He received his formative education at Scrabble School, Rappahannock County. He completed his junior and senior high education at Coolidge High in Washington, D.C.
When he became an adult, he moved to the Culpeper, Va., and united with Mount Olive Baptist Church where he was ordained a deacon. Loving to spread the gospel, he was a Sunday School teacher at the Nazareth Baptist Church.
He loved coaching youth basketball and was a member of the bowling league.
Mr. Williams wets employed for over 35 years with Verizon Telephone Company in Virginia.
He is survived by his loving wife, Frances Williams, of Centreville, Va., a daughter, Ameisha Colbert, of Castleton, two sons, Timothy Williams of Kemersville, N. C. and Theotis Williams of Culpeper.
Additional survivors include three brothers, Randolph Waddy, Palmyra, Va., Dr. James H. Williams, Jr., Fun City, Az., Joseph Waddy, Washington, D. C., and mother, Ruth Williams, of Warrenton, plus nine grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, James H. Williams.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Jan. 23 at Fairfax Baptist Church, Fairfax, Va., with Dr. James Hoffman officiating. Interment followed in Fairfax Memorial Park, Fairfax Va.
